Gymnastics Competitive Camp

Mark your calendars --August 6th - 8th -- for our competitive summer camp at All Around Gymnastics!  This camp is offered to female gymnasts in the Compulsory, Optional and Xcel competitive program!

We are so excited to bring you Jackie Fain and Amanda Holt, as our special guests!

Jackie was named the Regional Coach of the Year by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association in 2020, earning the honor following a vote by her fellow head coaches. The award is the second major honor Fain has garnered in her tenure with the Ladies as she was named the 2013 Midwest Intercollegiate Conference Coach of the Year.

She built an extensive resume after working several high-level camps over her career including University of Oklahoman, University of Missouri, University of Kentucky, and Iowa State.

Fain began her collegiate studies at the University of Kentucky and competed on the Wildcats gymnastics team. She holds the school record in every event - including All-Around. During her time at UK, Fain was named Most Valuable Gymnast, helped guide the team to three NCAA Regional berths and was an individual qualifier in the all-around competition. She was UK's first nationally ranked gymnast (16th).

Along with her coaching and student-athlete accolades, Fain is a graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy, serves on the NACGC/W Judges Educational Committee, and holds a national rating as a gymnastics judge since 1992.

Fain earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and Christian Leadership from Colorado Christian University in 2007 and her Master's of Science in Sports Administration from American Public University in 2009. In the fall of 2015, Fain added Senior Women's Administrator to her duties at Centenary.

Amanda Holt was a gymnast at Centenary Gymnastics and coached by Jackie Fain. She currently coaches for Twin City Twisters in Davenport, Iowa. Amanda was named All-American on Vault in both 2010 and 2012 while at Centenary College. Amanda is from Champlin, Minnesota where she attended Twin City Twisters Gymnastics. She was a Level 8 Regional champion and a Level 9 gymnast that placed second in the all-around and first on the vault at Westerns Amanda was also a Level 10 National qualifier.

The goal of our camp is to provide the gymnasts with a fun, yet challenging environment to further their gymnastics training.  The multi-talented coaching staff uses a positive and enthusiastic approach to gymnastics training.  We are looking forward to having the gymnasts spend a couple days with us learning about the many different aspects of our wonderful sport.  At our All Around Gymnastics Camp, we will incorporate technical drills, specific skill instruction, and appropriate progression towards each gymnast's goals as well as working on dance, conditioning and flexibility.

Gymnastics workouts will be on Friday from 3 p.m.- 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.  There will be a snack and relaxation break where the gymnasts have some down-time from the physical part of gymnastics.  Please bring healthy snacks and a healthy lunch each day.

Campers always bring your gymnastics gear (grips, leotards, shorts, etc.) We ask that baggie clothing not be worn in the gym for safety rules.
